Best Spring Break so far with having a gaia friend of 4 yearposted Mar 14th 2012, 2:50AM
Mood: Delighted
So my friend Tasha, (MTbrainz ), came to see me for an entire week. She rode a bus for 22 hours last minute just to not wait till the Summer. Which is great, because now I can just visit her in the summer and hopefully stay longer with her. Hehe. She's so adorable though, she told me she was just 1 inch from being an actual "small person". Which I find funny, but short girls are just SOO FREAKING ADORABLE! Well some, but she is just so cute. xD She calls herself "fun size", lol.
I had to pick up on Sunday, and the friday and sat. before she came I did this massive clean sweep and well, I had no time to draw, because I wanted the house perfect. Even my room, lol. I love having people over, because it just influences me to keep my stuff tidy, for example, I won't have some my acrylic paints out in one room with a half done canvas and the other I have like papers everywhere from constant doodling and what not, lol. Or instead of putting clean clothes away, I'd just have them scattered on my floor. xD I'm so odd about that, Idunno why, I'll put my dirty clothes in the hamper, but I'm just so lazy to put them on the hanger or just in my dresser. But Idunno, I need to work on not being so..derp I guess. loool.
But, tonight, she was wondering if the stars looked like they were everywhere in the sky (which is mostly in summer when its like that.), we ended up just looking at the constellations and saw a shooting star. It was both our first and we were just super stoked that we both saw it.
I also really needed someone around though, that wasn't always depending on me when something in their life is just so bad they come to me..its like I have a sign that says "I love to hear your problems and fix them all every time you have one." She's the same way on that, she hates having people depend on her all the time too. xD we've also spoke at the same time and have had the same thoughts, because either she or I would say them..we actually argue less in person then on IMs, lol.
I don't want to ruin that shes here by crying about how things have been complicated for me. I'm just appreciating every moment with her, and for some reason, I'm having sleeping troubles again..which is why I decided to get online and then noticed sheezyart, eheh. .3.; Since it won't be affecting what we do when shes awake. (I've managed to always fall asleep after her every night, except tonight. xD)

It's similar on how it works. =) Also, the users in Sheezyart are not keen with users being butthurt, causing drama, attention whore, as well as art theives. So, you won't come across any of those unless they are new to the site. The ADs here are a lot better than DA as it isn't a big site like DA.
I think it's the feel too. It's like how DA used to be way back, where you would actually get noticed, and (god forbid some actually useful) critiques. Smaller communities and such, =}.
